This is a passion project for a lifestyle // health app named Sweet Dreams. This app is designed for couples to meditate, fall asleep, reflect, and relax together.

The app offers services that are meant to be completed as a couple. There are options to meditate, listen to sleeping melodies, get sleep guidance, and listen to podcasts.

The app's primary focus is the guided nightly wind down, highlighted with text animation. This would be a routine that the couple has already set as their chosen path to fall asleep. The way I decided to highlight was a guided breathing sleep exercise.

The guided meditation is meant to lull the couple to restful sleep. It presents the users with animations, soothing tunes, and a calm voice guide to instruct them on their paths to sleep. Users can end the meditation early by clicking the “END MEDITATION” button. They can also click “BACK” to return to their previous screen and select another program. There is also a “controls” button on the top right of the screen so the user can adjust the guided voice volume, speed, or background music volume.

I love incorporating kawaii illustrations into my designs. I wanted to give this mobile app design a calming and soothing effect, with a dash of cute for added comfort.
